Unfortunately, brushes with the law rarely conclude with roses. Victoria Fuller, Amanda Stanton and Chris Soules are some of the Bachelor and Bachelorette participants who have grabbed headlines due to their legal issues over the years.
Fuller, notably, was arrested for driving under the influence in August 2017, two years before she vied for Peter Weber’s affection on The Bachelor. As reported by The Sun, she entered a guilty plea and completed one year of supervised probation and two years of unsupervised good behavior.
Stanton, in the meantime, was a contestant on season 20 of The Bachelor and seasons 3 and 4 of Bachelor in Paradise. She was taken into custody on a charge of battery domestic violence in Las Vegas in September 2018 during her relationship with former boyfriend Bobby Jacobs. The charges against Stanton were dismissed in December 2018. She and Jacobs ended their relationship in April 2019.
The news emerged in September 2025 that former Rycroft had been arrested for a suspected DWI. The following month, Rycroft addressed the situation, noting in an Instagram comment that “life is really difficult right now and I’m struggling, but I’m trying to keep going.”
