YouTube TV is providing subscribers with a $20 discount due to the Disney channel disruption.

Those subscribed to YouTube TV who are not pleased about lacking ESPN, ABC, and other Disney channels for over a week will receive a $20 credit that can be used on their subsequent bill.

Variety initially reported the credit, and a YouTube representative verified the information with TechCrunch. The company states that the credits are being distributed currently, with subscribers getting instructions via email on how to use them.

Disney’s channels were taken off the subscription TV service on October 31. YouTube mentions that if an agreement is made, those channels will be reinstated very quickly. As with similar disagreements, this one seems to be about cost, with YouTube criticizing Disney’s alleged price increase and Disney stating YouTube is “refusing to pay fair rates for our channels.”

The subscription TV service’s most recent disagreement with Disney occurred in 2022, which led to YouTube TV providing customers a $15 credit after Disney programming was unavailable for a day.
