Luann de Lesseps, an alum of The Real Housewives of New York City, has shared her current relationship status with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne following their BravoCon 2025 confrontation.
“I think I smoothed things over a bit,” de Lesseps, 60, told Us Weekly exclusively on Friday, November 14, during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.
The three personalities met during a special taping of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, November 13, where Andy Cohen, the host, brought them together onstage for a “Squash the Beef” segment. Cohen mentioned that de Lesseps appeared to have subtly criticized the RHOBH stars at a recent cabaret performance, referring to Jayne, 54, as a “bitch” and claiming Kemsley, 49, was “not the nicest person either.”
“I don’t need to justify myself,” de Lesseps asserted on stage. “Erika and I aren’t that familiar, based on our limited interactions. ‘Bitch’ was a term used affectionately.”
Cohen intervened, suggesting de Lesseps’s remarks might have been praise, implying Jayne and Kemsley were being called “bad bitches.” De Lesseps and Kemsley managed to resolve their issues, but Jayne rejected Cohen’s attempt to reconcile her with the Countess.
“No, I’m fine,” Jayne reportedly stated.
After the WWHL taping, Us spoke with de Lesseps and fellow RHONY alum Sonja Morgan, and the Countess reiterated that she did not intend to upset Jayne or Kemsley.
“Andy was excellent, [pointing out], ‘She meant bad bitch.’ It’s a compliment,” de Lesseps shared with Us. “[Erika] didn’t [accept it], but that’s OK. It just proves — she’s not very friendly!”
The “Money Can’t Buy You Class” performer further stated, “Dorit and I are good. I haven’t seen Erika since then, but I always support women. I admire women. ‘Bad Bitch’ is really what I meant.”
Morgan then added that the women from RHONY and RHOBH have always been friendly over the years.

“I attended Erika’s first performance in Chicago [the Broadway musical] immediately after undergoing a chin lift, and my face was swollen, and she commented, ‘Sonja, you’re so nice,’” Morgan, 61, recounted. “Luann does the same. We support each other, and I understand why Luann might have perceived her as rude, as she tends to be reserved when not dressed up or on stage.”
Morgan continued, “[Erika is] somewhat like me, quite private and reserved, and sometimes I’m unaware of when she’s performing. That’s a different story. It requires effort to perform. I am very quiet when I’m not doing [those shows].”
Separately at BravoCon 2025, Cohen addressed speculation that Bravo was developing a RHONY hybrid revival, possibly reuniting original cast members de Lesseps, Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Carole Radziwill with current cast members Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, and Erin Lichy for a fresh season.
“That’s false,” Cohen informed panel host Jeff Lewis.
As the audience booed, the Watch What Happens host insisted: “The original New York series delivered 13 incredible seasons. Many of the cast members have relocated to Florida. We’ll always maintain relationships with these individuals. We’re always open to collaboration. You know what? A 13-year run of a fantastic series is—be grateful it happened.”
Past episodes of both The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can be streamed on Peacock at any time. RHOBH season 15 will premiere on Bravo on Thursday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
