CeeDee Lamb of the Cowboys addresses speculation regarding the reasons he and a fellow player were held out of the game against the Raiders.

CeeDee Lamb, a star player for the Dallas Cowboys, discussed the reasons behind his and George Pickens’ benching for the opening drive of the team’s dominant victory against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Lamb clarified that he and Pickens were out late at a Las Vegas casino and faced disciplinary action for violating curfew. The wide receiver also aimed to dismiss social media rumors alleging he was seen vomiting at the casino the morning before the game.

“It’s disrespectful to even imply that,” Lamb stated, according to The Dallas Morning News. “I am aware of my limits with alcohol.”

Despite being benched, Lamb and Pickens both delivered outstanding performances in the game.

Pickens recorded nine receptions for 144 yards, including a 37-yard touchdown. Lamb made five catches for 66 yards and scored a touchdown. Their touchdowns played a role in Dak Prescott’s exceptional performance, completing 25 of 33 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns.
