Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss got together for their daughter Blaze’s 6th birthday, which came one day after they revealed they were splitting up.

According to People, the former couple celebrated Blaze’s birthday with a Snow White-themed party at Ready, Set FUN! in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, November 22. The outlet posted a picture of Burruss and Tucker with Blaze, who was wearing a princess dress. (In addition to Blaze, the former couple has a son, Ace, 8, and Kandi has an older daughter, Next Gen NYC star Riley Burruss, 23, from a previous relationship.)

Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 53, each posted individual birthday wishes for Blaze on Instagram on Saturday.

“Happy birthday to my little twin @blazetucker!!! Time is going by so fast! I can’t believe you’re already six years old… so strong, smart, talented, creative, big personality, & a winner! My beautiful little princess,” Burruss wrote in the caption of a series of photos. “I love you so much. Everyone give @blazetucker some bday love!”

Tucker also shared his own set of photos, along with a birthday message: “Happy Birthday to my Baby Blaze! She [is] my Beautiful little princess! She warms my heart every time I see her. @blazetucker where did the time go 6 yrs old! Daddy. Loves you with all his heart!!!”

Burruss released a statement to Us Weekly just one day before Blaze’s birthday party to confirm that she and Tucker were separating after 11 years of marriage.

Burruss told Us, “After much thought and prayer, I’ve decided to proceed with a divorce. This is a tough and emotional period, but my priority is to protect my peace, be the best mother possible, and co-parent with love and respect.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum went on, “I’m starting a new chapter focused on my work, my family, and my personal growth. I’m grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition as a family.”

The surprising breakup announcement came one week after Burruss honored Tucker with the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on November 14. She thanked Tucker for supporting her through all the drama that comes with being a Housewife.

With a laugh, she said, “To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions. You earned this award as well.”

In April 2024, the former couple shut down another round of breakup rumors soon after Burruss revealed she was leaving RHOA. (The singer-songwriter was one of Atlanta’s Housewives for 14 seasons before leaving in February 2024.).

Tucker told Us exclusively, “It is difficult. You’re always in the spotlight, and you can’t really relax in public. But for me, after doing reality TV early on with her, I really don’t pay attention to it anymore. We know what’s happening.”

Burruss attributed the success of their marriage to strong communication at the time.

She said, “He’s a better communicator than I am. I’m the type of person who shuts down when I’m in a bad mood. I don’t want to talk until I’ve completely calmed down because I’m worried I’ll say something I don’t mean and it’ll come across as harsh. But he likes to communicate and get everything out in the open. He really helps us get through things because we have to talk them out.”

Tucker added, “I try to put myself in her position and see things from her perspective. … It requires a lot of effort. A lot of effort. But the thing is, it’s enjoyable, and 10 years went by very quickly. It could have been a long 10 years, but it has been an incredible journey.”

Burruss and Tucker first met when he was working as a line producer on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. They got married at Le Fais Do-Do in Atlanta in April 2014 and later had a son, Ace, in January 2016, and a daughter, Blaze, in November 2019.
