While Rihanna and ASAP Rocky started as music collaborators, their connection blossomed into something more.
ASAP confirmed in a May 2021 interview with GQ that he was dating Rihanna and called her “The One.”
“It’s obvious they’re a couple and also are each other’s best friend,” a source told Us Weekly in April 2021. “They kid around a lot [and] laugh a lot. They have private date nights together a lot and have a blast hanging out together.”
Since turning from friends to lovers, the couple have faced their fair share of highs and lows, from expanding their family with three kids — RZA, Riot and Rocki — to ASAP’s 2022 arrest in Los Angeles.
Through it all, ASAP and Rihanna have been a united front. “I got with a very special woman,” the rapper said in January 2026.
