Katie Thurston looked radiant in a pink ensemble while attending a celebrity-filled event as she continues her fight against cancer.
Thurston, 34, stunned in a rosy gown at the annual Pink Agenda New York City Gala on Thursday, October 9. While posing on the pink carpet, the Bachelor star wowed in a low-cut dress featuring thin straps, a pleated bodice, and a ruffled skirt that flowed beautifully as she moved.
Thurston kept her accessories simple, choosing delicate silver hoop earrings, a beaded bracelet, and her engagement ring and wedding band from husband Jeff Arcuri.
The TV personality’s makeup was as glamorous as her gown, featuring pastel pink eyeshadow blended into her crease and subtle winged eyeliner. She completed her look with long lashes, peach blush, and pink, lined lips. Her brunette hair was styled with her soft bangs that grazed her forehead.
During the event, which raises funds for vital breast cancer research, Thurston placed a bid on a pink electric guitar signed by Bon Jovi.
She posted a clip of herself taking home the instrument via Instagram on Friday, October 10. “You can’t see it but there’s a glittery pink guitar and it’s signed by Bon Jovi,” she said excitedly to the camera. “I’m sorry but it’s mine! It’s for a good cause. I had to.”
She further reflected on her evening via Instagram, writing, “Happy Friday friends 🙂 Went to the Pink Agenda Gala yesterday. It felt like a HS reunion! Seeing people you haven’t seen in awhile (or in my case ever, but I had followed online or DM’d here). It was nice but flew by.”
Thurston added, “I do have to admit something 🤭 I bid on a signed guitar — Bon Jovi! And I was so sure Jeff and his family were obsessed with him! Well good news is, I won!”

“Not so good news is, they love Billy Joel, not Bon Jovi 😂,” Thurston continued, noting she wasn’t upset about the purchase because it was still a “great story.”
“Now to figure out where to display a glittery pink guitar. My mom and 4 yo niece come to visit Sunday-Wednesday. Very excited to see them! Especially with my six-month MRI scan happening Monday.” Thurston added that she’s feeling “optimistic” about her results.
“If all goes well, we can shift scans out further. I hate the idea of contaminating my body with contrast,” she wrote. “I recently learned about a company called BeSound (Breast). Pretty excited to support their mission! More on that another time.”
Thurston’s night out comes as she battles stage 4 breast cancer, which she was diagnosed with in February. In March, she learned that it had spread to her liver.
“After days of waiting, unfortunately, I did find out today that my breast cancer has spread to the liver,” she shared in an Instagram video at the time. “It is fairly small, however, it does put me at stage four.”
She’s been undergoing treatment on her liver, and if her scans show signs of improvement, she will be able to have a double mastectomy in November.
