Popular vacation destination rattled as human foot discovered on beach; authorities begin inquiry: sources.

A beach patron in Ibiza stumbled upon a gruesome find Friday morning when a human foot surfaced on the shore of Playa d’en Bossa, one of the island’s most frequented beaches.

According to local news source Diario de Ibiza, the remains were found amid storm remnants and noticed by an unnamed individual strolling along the beach. The person promptly informed authorities, and by approximately 8 a.m. local time, numerous Spanish National Police units had reached the location.

Photographs released by The Sun depict law enforcement personnel and investigators wearing bright vests examining the vicinity while spectators congregated close by. Authorities cordoned off a section of the beach to gather evidence and prevent any disturbance of the area.

Diario de Ibiza stated that the person who located the foot apparently used a stick to secure it, preventing it from being dragged back into the sea.
