A final game will determine which team faces the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.

Blue Jays outfielder Addison Barger ignited the scoring in the second inning, singling to right field and driving in Dalton Varsho. Isiah Kiner-Falefa followed with an infield single, bringing Ernie Clement home. This sequence provided the Jays with the momentum boost they needed. In the third inning, Barger returned to the plate and blasted a two-run home run.

The Rogers Centre was electric.

Toronto extended their lead with a fifth run when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. launched a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Guerrero later scored after a throwing error while attempting to steal third.

Guerrero went 2-for-4, scoring two runs and hitting his sixth home run of the postseason. Barger was 2-for-3 with three RBI and his second home run of the postseason.

The Mariners had opportunities of their own.

Josh Naylor hit a solo home run, and Eugenio Suarez singled, driving in Randy Arozarena. However, they failed to capitalize on consecutive bases-loaded situations. Trey Yesavage induced Cal Raleigh and J.P. Crawford into inning-ending double plays in the third and fourth innings, preventing further scoring.

Yesavage recorded seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings.

Raleigh went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. Jesus Rodriguez and Jorge Polanco also remained hitless.

Game 7 is scheduled for Monday night at 8:08 p.m. ET in Toronto, and will be broadcast on FOX.

The Blue Jays last appeared in a World Series in 1993. The Mariners have yet to reach a World Series.
