Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Step Out as a Couple on the Red Carpet

Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman are stepping out together on the red carpet as a couple for the first time!

The 57-year-old Australian actor was accompanied by his girlfriend at the premiere of his new film, Song Sung Blue, which wrapped up the annual AFI Fest at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, October 26.

Jackman sported a black tuxedo, while Foster, 50, made a statement on the red carpet in an elegant floor-length black satin dress featuring spaghetti straps.

The pair smiled broadly as they wrapped their arms around each other while posing for photographs.

Jackman also posed alongside his Song Sung Blue costar, Kate Hudson, who stunned on the red carpet in a silky burnt orange dress. In the movie, Jackman and Hudson portray the real-life married duo Mike and Claire Sardina, who created the Neil Diamond tribute act Lightning & Thunder.

Jackman and Foster, who shared the stage in the 2022 Broadway revival of The Music Man, seemed to confirm their relationship in January. They were seen holding hands during a relaxed date night in Los Angeles at the time. Earlier that month, they were also seen sharing a kiss in the drive-thru at an In-N-Out Burger in San Fernando, California.

In February, an insider exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that the pair are “madly in love” and feel “relieved and happy” to be publicly together after ending things with their former partners.

“They aren’t officially living together, but they are spending a great deal of time together,” the insider revealed.

In October 2024, Foster officially filed for divorce from Ted Griffin after being married for about 10 years. They share one adopted daughter, 8, who they adopted in 2017.

Jackman and his former wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, shared the news of their separation in September 2023, after being married for 27 years.

“We have been fortunate to have shared almost three decades as husband and wife in a loving and wonderful marriage. Our path is now evolving, and we have decided to separate so that we can pursue our own personal growth,” the couple mentioned in a shared statement.

“Our family will continue to be our biggest priority, as it always has been. We approach this next chapter with appreciation, love, and kindness. We sincerely appreciate you respecting our privacy as our family manages this transition in all of our lives,” the statement continued.

In November 2024, a source exclusively told Us, “Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is why Hugh and Deb got a divorce. Numerous people on Broadway were aware, but we kept it secret since they are both such great and kind people. Everyone honored their privacy. But there was some romantic involvement.”

In May, Furness, 69, addressed her separation from the Wolverine actor publicly after officially filing for divorce. (The former couple share two adopted children, Oscar, 25, and Ava, 20.)

“My heart and empathy go out to all those who have gone through the painful experience of betrayal,” Furness said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

“It’s a very deep wound, but I believe in a higher power, and I believe that God/the universe is always working to help us,” Furness added. “This belief has been my guide as I’ve dealt with the ending of a marriage that lasted almost three decades. I have learned so much through this. Even when things seem difficult, it is all leading us toward our ultimate happiness and purpose.”
