As per authorities, several individuals were shot Saturday night after a shooter began firing at Pennsylvania’s Lincoln University.
The Chester County District Attorney’s Office communicated to Fox News Digital that there were “multiple victims” but did not verify the specific number of injuries or deaths.
FOX 29 Philadelphia was informed by Oxford Borough Police Department officials that a minimum of four individuals were shot and transported to a nearby medical center.
The DA’s office stated in a release, “Law enforcement is on the scene and actively investigating.” “Kindly avoid the location currently.”
According to the outlet, Oxford Borough police reported that no suspects are currently in custody, and the shooting was not ongoing.
Lincoln University is a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
The university celebrated its homecoming this weekend, with the primary football game taking place at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Lincoln University is situated roughly 45 miles southwest of Philadelphia and approximately 25 miles west of Wilmington, Delaware.
