Jessica Simpson reveals she's 'into younger men' and enjoying herself post-split from Eric Johnson.

Jessica Simpson is keeping her spirits high despite her divorce.

Simpson, who is 45 years old, revealed her separation from her husband, Eric Johnson, a former NFL player, in January. Several months later, she’s sharing that she’s interested in spending time with younger men.

“I think I’m currently drawn to younger men,” she said in a new interview with Extra. “I’m finding that when you’re newly separated, younger guys seem to appreciate the confidence of an older woman.”

She added with a smile, “I’m having a good time.”

Simpson spoke with the outlet at the premiere of “All’s Fair” on Oct. 16, where she makes a cameo appearance. She mentioned sharing scenes with Naomi Watts and Kim Kardashian and that she plays Rick Springfield’s love interest.

“I had the chance to get intimate with ‘Jessie’s Girl,'” she joked, referencing Springfield’s popular 1981 song. “It was an interesting experience. I had never kissed a man so much older than myself, but it wasn’t unpleasant.”

The singer, who is now a fashion designer, also drew attention with her dress choice for the event. Simpson wore a bold black latex dress with a deep neckline and a high slit on the red carpet.

“After putting it on, I needed to apply oil all over,” she shared with Extra. “I usually reserve latex for the bedroom, but I decided to wear it on the red carpet tonight.”

Simpson announced in January that she and Johnson were ending their marriage after a decade together.

“Eric and I have been living apart and navigating a difficult situation in our marriage,” she told People. “Our children are our priority, and we are focused on their well-being. We are thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask for privacy as we navigate this as a family.”

She and Johnson have two daughters, Maxwell and Birdie, and one son, Ace.

She told Parade over the summer that she wanted to remain positive despite the divorce.

“I choose love because if I allowed resentment or pain to consume me, I would fail,” she said.

“Therefore, I had to choose love and accept people despite their mistakes. If I want to be forgiven for my mistakes, I must forgive others for theirs. That was likely the most significant lesson of all.”
