Taylor Swift paused her promotional activities for her most recent album, The Life of a Showgirl, to go out for a girls’ night with Gigi Hadid, one of her closest friends.
On Monday, November 3, the famous pair were seen in New York City at the private members’ club Zero Bond, sporting matching fall-inspired attire.
Swift, 35, and Hadid, 30, both wore long black winter coats in anticipation of the cold New York weather. Snakeskin boots, one of her go-to styles, were worn by Swift with her coat. The singer also seemed to be wearing a short plaid skirt underneath her peacoat for Monday’s outing.
Hadid, the model, was seen sporting black leather pants and a purple and white polka dot top.
The BFFs have maintained a close relationship for more than ten years. At the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, they were first seen getting to know one another while posing for pictures with Jaime King and Ireland Baldwin.
Hadid played a significant part in Swift’s well-known “Bad Blood” music video a year later. Other members of Swift’s well-known “girl squad,” including Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevingne, and others, were also featured in the video.
In a quote for a May 2017 Harper’s Bazaar profile of Hadid, the “Fate of Ophelia” singer expressed her admiration for her pal.
Swift revealed in an email to the outlet, “As a friend, Gigi is among the first individuals I seek out for guidance. “She is incredibly skilled at viewing all sides of a circumstance and simplifying it for you, as well as seeing the complexity of people. Gigi’s first guideline is to treat others as she would like to be treated. As a result, she arrives to work on time (or early), greets everyone on set, inquires about their well-being, and genuinely listens to their responses.”
Swift continued, “She is an inherently kind and inclusive person who has managed to become a huge power player and businesswoman without ever compromising that.”
Hadid paid Swift back in April 2023 by praising her culinary prowess in an InStyle interview.
The model stated, “Taylor Swift is an amazing cook, and I adore her. I also adore her excellent bolognese sauce and chili. Therefore, I enjoy cooking, but it’s also such a pleasure to have someone cook for me. And I believe that you start to develop relationships with the friends you truly connect with when you have friends who also value those special moments, more private settings, and what can truly result from making an effort to make time for them, because you are both working to create those genuinely special moments.”
Swift has had a hectic few months since announcing her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in August and releasing her 12th studio album in October. Despite the musician’s hectic schedule, she has continued to encourage her boyfriend at several Chiefs games thus far this NFL season.
Swift was most recently spotted with Brittany Mahomes on October 27 cheering on their partners, Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, from a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City during the Chiefs’ game against the Washington Commanders, prior to Monday’s night out in New York.
